1. No Video Recording or Storage

Poker Face Test runs entirely in your browser. When you grant camera access, the video feed is processed in real time to detect facial expressions and landmarks. No video, images, or audio are ever recorded, stored, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.All processing happens locally on your device. Once you close the page, all data is permanently gone.

2. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information. The name you enter is used solely to display on your results screen and optionally on the leaderboard. We do not require an email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier to play the game.

3. Leaderboard Data

If you choose to participate in the leaderboard, only your chosen username and numerical score are saved to our database via Supabase. This data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties. You may opt out at any time by simply not playing or by clearing your browser data.

4. Embedded Third-Party Media (YouTube & TikTok)

Our website displays video content from YouTube and TikTok using their official embed features. When you view pages containing embedded videos, your browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the respective platform.

As a result, these platforms may collect and process your data including your IP address, device information, browser type, and tracking data via cookies or pixel tags. This may occur even if you do not have an account with those platforms or are not logged in.

  • Standard embedding preserves all native creator attributions, profile links, views and original engagements
  • If a creator adjusts their platform privacy settings to restrict embedding, disables public viewing, or deletes their video, the content will automatically cease to display on our site
  • If you are a creator and wish to have your embedded content manually removed from our website, please contact us immediately at contact@pokerfacetest.com

5. No Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only external services we use are Supabase (for leaderboard storage) and Plausible (for anonymous, privacy-compliant analytics). Both services are GDPR-compliant and do not track individuals.
